Tsemberiki & Mendi Town, Southern Highlands Province

Organized by the Mendi End Time Swallows (ETS), the ministry team, together with our wives journeyed to Tsemberiki fully equipped with media and communication equipment, generators, medical supplies, and food to support the outreach mission.

Tsemberiki is a remote community located on the edge of Southern Highlands Province, bordering Kikori in Gulf Province. The journey involved a six-hour drive from Mount Hagen, followed by an eight-hour trek through rugged mountains and challenging terrain. With a population of over 5,000 people, the community had never before hosted an outdoor evangelistic meeting by any church, including the Seventh-day Adventist Church. This historic milestone was confirmed by Pawabi SDA Church Pastor, Wilfred Olpa.

During the daytime, free health clinics led by Dr. Newman Pingi and financial literacy training were conducted to support and uplift the community. The outreach was met with overwhelming gratitude from community leaders, church members, and residents, and four souls were baptized.

In the second week, evangelistic meetings were held at the Mendi Town Oval with the support of Mendi Town SDA Church and its branch churches. Thirteen individuals, including members of End Time Swallows and their wives, publicly committed their lives to Christ through baptism.
