ETS visited Yalum again, and by this time a missionary was present onsite. The missionary had been sent there after leaders recognised the beginnings of an expanding mission area. This was the ministry when ETS first started its medical evangelistic campaign. At that time, 4th year medical student, Dr. Jeff Tore led a day clinic and ETS ran the evangelistic campaign in the evening. People came as far as the Sepik border to get medical advice. Many lives were touched, and two mothers from non‑Christian backgrounds accepted the Adventist faith during that time.
